Description
Reverse osmosis installations are used as a purification method and are also called hyperfiltration-, OO- or RO installations. In the reverse osmosis unit, a membrane is used as a filter, which filters dissolved substances out of the water. This membrane is designed in such a way that pure water is allowed to pass through, but larger particles (with a chemical composition) are prevented from passing through. After treatment with the reverse osmosis unit, the water is stripped of waste products, desalinated (stripped of salts) and all lime is removed. If your greenhouse includes a reverse osmosis installation, you can be sure that your crop will always be supplied with high purity water.
