A water silo is constructed by mounting round panels together, creating a cylindrical construction. This construction is not in itself watertight. This is why tank liner is used as a sealing agent on the inside of water silos. The tankliner is usually fixed over the tank rim using stretch-free wire steel and tension ratchets.
