The assimilation light reflector is responsible for the distribution of light in assimilation lighting. Reflectors can be attached to the fixture of the assimilation lamp. By choosing the right type of light reflector you can optimise your growth. The narrower reflectors ensure a bundled reflection of the light, so the light is directed to a smaller point. If a wider reflector is used, the light is spread out, which is desirable, for example, in cases where the distance from the lamp to the crop is small. Because assimilation reflectors are responsible for the distribution of the light and therefore are also directly responsible for the intensity of the light at the growing surface, choosing the right reflector for your assimilation lamps is important for the effectiveness of your assimilation light installation.
